Travel and transport time

Traffic in Copenhagen is not always on our side. When we have several customers in a day there will inevitably be some idle time, which we share as fairly as possible between jobs. A smaller job's invoice will therefore typically include time spent travelling.

If a job spans a whole working day, we do not charge travel – unless our electrician has to collect materials for the job on the way.

Price examples for typical jobs

To make it easier to gauge the price, here are a couple of typical examples. The final price depends on the scope of the job, access and materials.

New electrical panel

Replacing a panel is priced from the number of circuits, the need for an RCD and adaptation to the home's power use. A typical job consists of a service visit, technician hours, documentation and materials. Contact us for a fixed quote on your panel.

Socket

Fitting or replacing a single socket can often be done within a service visit (DKK 800.00 incl. travel and the 1st hour). If new cables must be run or more outlets added, extra technician time and materials apply.

All the work you don't see

With every job there is work you typically do not notice – but which is necessary for a safe, legal result. It is part of the price of an authorised electrician:

  • Our electrician has to travel to the job.
  • The work carried out must be documented.
  • We complete documents for the Danish Safety Authority's mandatory LKS system.
  • Readings from our measuring instruments must be extracted and archived.
  • Ordered materials may need collecting from our suppliers.
  • We clean up and, if necessary, take waste to the recycling centre.
