Privacy policy
When you visit our website, information about you is collected and used to tailor and improve our content and advertising. If you do not want such information collected, you should delete your cookies and stop using the site. Below we explain what information is collected, its purpose and which third parties have access to it.
Cookies
The website uses "cookies" - a text file stored on your computer, mobile or similar device in order to recognise it, remember settings, produce statistics and target advertising. Cookies cannot contain harmful code such as viruses.
You can delete or block cookies. If you delete or block cookies, adverts may become less relevant to you and appear more often, the site may not work optimally, and some content may become inaccessible. The website contains cookies from third parties.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
To protect our contact forms against spam we use Google reCAPTCHA v3 from Google Ireland Limited. reCAPTCHA is only loaded if you have consented to the "Spam protection" category in our cookie banner. When you send a form, reCAPTCHA analyses your behaviour on the page (e.g. IP address, browser information and mouse movements) and sends this information to Google, which assesses whether the enquiry comes from a human. The processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The information may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Personal data
Personal data is any kind of information that can to some extent be attributed to you. When you use our website we collect and process a range of such information - for example when you access content, sign up for our newsletter, take part in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, otherwise use services, or make a purchase via the website.
We typically collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP address, geographic location and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent you give explicit consent and enter the information yourself, we also process: name, phone number, email, address and payment details. This is typically in connection with creating a login or making a purchase.
Security
We have taken technical and organisational measures to prevent your data from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, published, lost, degraded, disclosed to unauthorised parties, misused or otherwise processed in breach of the law.
Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and show you the adverts most likely to be relevant to you, to record your purchases and payments, and to deliver the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. We also use the information to optimise our services and content.
Retention period
The information is stored for the period permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storing it, so it is not possible to give a general timeframe for when information is deleted.
Disclosure of information
Data about your use of the website, which adverts you receive and may click on, geographic location, gender and age segment etc. is passed to third parties to the extent this information is known. The information is used to target advertising.
We also use a number of third parties to store and process data. They process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. Personal data such as name and email will only be shared if you consent to it. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that provide adequate protection of your data.
Access and complaints
You have the right to be informed which personal data we process about you. You can also object at any time to the use of that information. You can withdraw your consent to processing. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. Please contact stikkontakt@risloev.dk.
